BeSafe® Car seat iZi Modular X1 i-Size - color Metallic Melange

The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 i-Size is the updated version of the functional iZi Modular i-Size child seat and, like its predecessor, it is installed using the iZi Modular i-Size ISOfix base, which is sold separately.

Important: to install the BeSafe iZi Modular X1 i-Size car seat in your vehicle, you must have the BeSafe iZi Modular ISOfix base, which is sold separately.

The BeSafe iZi Modular X1 i-Size features 3 new functions:

1. Dynamic Force Absorber™ – the new headrest system takes side impact protection to a new level
2. The additional side impact protection, SIP+, now features a slide-on construction for quick and secure attachment to the car seat.
3. Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™ were developed based on research from the German organization AGR (Campaign for Healthier Backs), which focuses on back health and prevention, providing the child with extra room for arm movement.

Thanks to the Dynamic Force Absorber™, the iZi Modular X1 i-Size features the newest and most modern solution in the headrest, providing optimal protection for the most vulnerable parts of a child's body. The headrest is made of special materials and consists of different flexible zones that optimally absorb side impact forces by flexing in the inner zone while remaining firmer in the outer zones.

Highlight #2: One-click installation on the ISOfix base
With adjustable legroom

The iZi Modular i-Size ISOfix base offers the option to adjust the legroom. The adjustable front brace can provide more legroom when the child is older, and conversely, allow the car seat to take up less space in the vehicle when the child is still small.
The ability to detach the car seat from the ISOfix base not only allows you to use the same base for another car seat from the iZi Modular concept but also lets you easily move the car seat and ISOfix base between cars in seconds.

Highlight #3: Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™
Room for more movement

Based on recommendations from the German association AGR (Aktion Gesunder Rücken), which focuses on back health and prevention, we have developed our new soft and comfortable Ergo-Move Shoulder Pads™. They feature a thinner design and extra curvature where the child's shoulders are, which gives the child additional space for arm movement.

Highlight #4: Two-Fit Cushions™
Comfort for every age

Consisting of two separate parts made of soft material while still providing necessary support, the Two-Fit Cushions™ allow you to adjust them to provide maximum comfort for every child. The Two-Fit Cushions™ provide smaller children with extra softness and stability when transitioning from an infant car seat to a toddler car seat.
The two independent parts of the insert, which can be removed separately, allow parents to adjust the seating position and harness placement optimally for their child.
It is recommended to remove the Two-Fit Cushions™ insert when the child turns 2 years old, but of course, it can be removed earlier or left in for longer, depending on the child's height.
